You Need Your Own HO6 Policy

Below is a list (not necessarily complete) of hazards that you need to protect yourself against:

• Loss of use of your residence
• Loss of your personal property
• Personal liability
• Loss assessment
• Earthquake loss assessment

You need to discuss your insurance needs with an agent of your choice. You may use our agent or another agent.

Here are features of the Association master policy:

• Policy period is from 2/15/2013 to 2/15/2014
• Policy does not cover wall coverings, floor coverings, or appliances
• Policy limits are $27,302,000 on property and $29,600 on business property
• Insurance deductible on property is $5,000
• Coverage extends to real property improvements
• Earthquake insurance is carried with a policy limit of $27,302,000
• Earthquake deductible is 30% of each building replacement cost
• The Association does not carry flood insurance
• The Association carries Directors and Officers Insurance and also has a fidelity bond
• The Association carries a Workers' Compensation policy
• The Association has liability coverage (Amount not disclosed on a public web site)
